Day 01 :
Arrival in Uganda – Welcome to Africa’s Pearl

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional driver-guide, who will accompany you throughout the safari. Transfer to your pre-arranged hotel for rest and relaxation.

Day 02 :
Fort Portal Highlights & Scenic Hike

After breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, driving along the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains within the Great East African Rift Valley. En route, visit Mabere ga Nyinamwiru, famous for its stalactites and stalagmites, and learn about local legends and ancient cultural beliefs.

Enjoy a guided hike across three scenic hills offering panoramic views of Fort Portal, surrounding crater lakes, volcanic hills, and settlements. Continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park for overnight stay.

Day 03 :
Game Drive, Boat Cruise & Cultural Encounter

After an early breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, searching for lions, elephants, buffaloes, hyenas, and other wildlife. The park is also home to large hippo populations and rich birdlife.

Return to the lodge for lunch, then take an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, connecting Lake Edward and Lake George. This cruise offers exceptional wildlife viewing and is considered one of Uganda’s top safari activities.

Optional Activity – Lion Tracking:
For an additional USD 100 per person, join a research-led lion tracking experience with a 95% chance of close sightings.

Day 04 :
Tree-Climbing Lions & Transfer to Bwindi

After breakfast, drive through the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park in search of the famous tree-climbing lions. Continue south through rural Uganda, enjoying views of terraced hills and local villages.

Arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in the late afternoon. Relax and prepare for the next day’s gorilla trekking adventure. Your lodge offers breathtaking views of the forest and is community-owned, supporting sustainable tourism.

Day 05 :
Gorilla Tracking Experience

After an early breakfast, proceed to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest briefing centre for trekking instructions. Accompanied by expert guides, trek through dense rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family.

Tracking can take 2–7 hours, depending on gorilla movements. Once found, you will spend one magical hour observing the gorillas as they feed, play, and interact—an emotional and unforgettable wildlife encounter.

Day 06 :
Return to Kampala & Departure

After breakfast, begin the return journey to Kampala. Stop at Igongo Cultural Museum for lunch and a cultural experience. Continue with a stop at the Equator Line for photos and souvenirs before proceeding to Entebbe for your departure flight.
